– Rivoli Perfumery 2015 –

Moscow

I implemented the same CCCP Catherine’s Cabinets of Curiosity & Perfume– concept at two different locations in Moscow.

In December 2014 the first opened in Hotel Moskva, an iconic location situated next to the Red Square, now functioning as luxury hotel and shopping mall.
Although a location imbedded in Russian history, the dedicated space offered no signs or architectural elements to work with. A rectangular space was to be filled.

In July 2014 the second opened in Gallery Crocus, a renowned luxury shopping mall outside of the centre of Moscow. Here the shop includes a beauty room.
The mall’s interior is designed in a cream white classic Italian look, the given space is again void of any architectural references.

The module and theme of the boiserie typical of this concept’s signature, made of recycled “Chippendale” furniture, had been applied to serve the space and function.
The artistic approach, look, and feel remain unaltered, however each store is completely unique in certain specific elements and detail.

I dress. I’ve been working in this profession since 1987. I embrace work in progress, the effort and collective excitement that lies in the process.
As I have touched and have been touched, there are many stories to tell.
